Due to the challenges brought forth from Covid-19, many small businesses such as ours have been forced to cease operations indefinitely. Our fleet of healthy vending machines (Le Frigo) located in universities, companies, and hospitals have been put on hiatus. More than ever we wish to continue our company’s mission: to create convenient access to healthy, delicious foods.
Starting on Monday April 27th we are announcing a new category to our web site a community-initiative: Portions Provisions. The program comprises two neighborhood needs. The first:an affordable and timely delivery service of fresh foods for the elderly, families, and Montrealers at large. The second: sharing and promoting our expertise in the food industry particularly sourcing locally grown fruits and vegetables. Our current produce selections incorporate an emphasis on hydroponic sources of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens sourced locally in Quebec. An organic produce section is being worked on and will be launched in the very near future.
For the first week we will be focused on delivering fresh produce. Place your order on our website (portions.ca and go to the online order tab in the left hand corner) or give us a call at 514-794-0556 and our team will deliver your order to your door within 24 hrs. Our first phase delivery zone will be Cote Saint Luc, Hampstead, Ville Saint Laurent, and DDO. Be assured that our kitchen facility and employees are adhering to the strict levels of hygiene to ensure your safety. Payment will be executed through credit card, Paypal, Google Pay, and interac e-transfer. Our site also allows for gift cards to be purchased so people can preorder for their parents or friends .
On May 4th we will be extending the service to include our own delicious, healthy prepared foods. Our menu will include a variety of soups, salads, bowls, breakfasts, warmers, snacks and alternative beverages. We are cognizant of food preferences and allergies so we make items that are vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy free. A deli section will be added prioritizing no nitrate meats from local suppliers like Olywell, Levitts etc. Baked goods will be featured from local artisanal bakeries and shops. Other departments will be added as the program grows while our emphasis will always be on affordability, health, and quality. Our goal : to build an online healthy micro market where both buyers and sellers can create value-added experiences for each other.
